Katelyn Rae

Katelyn

Katelyn Rae is an author who graduated with a degree in anthropology and archaeology. She enjoys writing everything from historical fiction, to picture books, and beyond. Currently she’s working on several projects; an adult historical fiction novel, a historical fiction romance, a YA historical fiction series, and a picture book. In her off hours she enjoys spending time with her Mini-Pin/Dachshund-mix pup named Hadassah, aka 'Dassi'; enjoying a good book or movie, often with a nice cup of tea or hot chocolate; and relishing in the beauty God gave us in nature.

Using her degree as inspiration in her writing, she endeavors to include unique cultural elements, but more importantly, she strives to make history come to life. She believes that the past always has lessons to teach us and that by displaying these in new ways the past can continue to teach.
